When you open the extension on a Figma Community plugin page, it reads the plugin ID from the current tab URL and makes a direct request to the public Figma API (figma.com/api/plugins/…) to fetch plugin statistics. The data is displayed in the popup and never leaves your browser.
We do not collect your name, email, or any personal information.
We do not track which plugins you view or compare.
We do not use analytics, cookies, or any tracking tools.
We do not transmit any data to our servers — we have none.
activeTab — reads the URL of the current tab only to extract the Figma plugin ID. No other tab data is accessed or stored.
storage — reserved for future local-only features such as saving pinned plugins. Nothing is stored currently.
host permission (figma.com) — required to call the public Figma Community API to fetch plugin statistics.
The extension makes requests to figma.com/api — a public, unauthenticated API — to fetch plugin statistics. The same data is visible on any Figma Community page. No other third-party services are contacted. Google Fonts is loaded in the UI for typography only — no tracking is involved.
